First of all, "rants" (as typically defined) aren't very welcome on this list or most list to my knowledge. So, I never used that word or urged you to start a "rant" on this list. Next, your post on the "test" list which prompted me to suggest posting on this list contained a series of questions about Xfce and how to configure somethings. The "test" list is specifically geared to testing Rawhide release as well as pre-release versions. So, the folks there aren't focused on answering "usage" questions. Usage questions belong here. Keep in mind that questions in the form of "what is best desktop" will only get you opinions of others which may or may not align with your views. Those types of questions, IMO, tend to be a waste of time. I would also comment that I personally wouldn't use Rawhide as my "real world on hardware as my only operating system". The reason being that Rawhide can, and has, broken horribly. IMO, if one has limited HW resources they should be running a released version of Fedora on their HW and Rawhide in a VM if they desire to test. I also would not recommend Rawhide to someone whose use case is "only for household things, like surfing the web, sending email, watching YouTube." as that isn't its intent. -- The key to getting good answers is to ask good questions. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
