Hi! I have a really weird situation with my wifi device on an old Thinkpad t420 : i have no network device but the device seem fine in lspci and the iwlwifi driver is loaded. There is not hardware problem as i tried a knoppix and it works without problem. One small quirk is that the ssd+os is transplanted from other station to this laptop, but i would have expected for the wireless device to be at least discovered
I would suggest trying a Fedora live boot to make sure that it's not something in the transferred os.
What is the lspci output for the device? Check "journalctl -b" for any messages related to the wifi. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
