Lspci shows, that card found...

I must have a different problem. I've got a Dell Inspiron laptop that gets a blank screen after waking up from sleep, after updating to 5.5.5. Downgraded to 5.4.

Apart from dumping the output of 'lspci -vnn' into Bugzilla, is there any troubleshooting I can do.

Does the capslock light work?
Can you switch to a text console using ctrl-alt-f3?
Can you connect using ssh from another computer?
After you reboot it, what are the first lines from:
  journalctl -b-1 -r

The laptop was still responsive, the three-fingered salute initiated a reboot. Looking through the journal logs, I don't see anything related to the display. Everything looks normal, the wireless comes up normally, and reconnnects to the wireless. The closest complaint I could see is something with the audio card:

Feb 29 12:38:40 linuxlaptop kernel: acpi device:12: Cannot transition from D3cold to D3hot
Feb 29 12:38:40 linuxlaptop kernel: snd_hda_intel 0000:00:09.2: refused to change power state from D0 to D3hot
Feb 29 12:38:40 linuxlaptop kernel: acpi device:1a: Cannot transition from D3cold to D3hot
Feb 29 12:38:40 linuxlaptop kernel: ACPI: Preparing to enter system sleep state S3

But everything looked normal, except for the display. The backlight was on, but the entire screen was black. ALT-Fn, to switch VTs, didn't elicit a response, but the three-fingered salute initiated a reboot. I haven't tried to ssh in, but given that, and the following in journal:

Feb 29 12:38:52 linuxlaptop wpa_supplicant[1054]: wlp2s0: Trying to associate with 9c:3d:cf:85:6b:5a (SSID='USS Enterprise-Warp Speed' freq=5765 MHz)
Feb 29 12:38:52 linuxlaptop kernel: wlp2s0: associate with 9c:3d:cf:85:6b:5a (try 1/3)
Feb 29 12:38:52 linuxlaptop kernel: wlp2s0: RX AssocResp from 9c:3d:cf:85:6b:5a (capab=0x1011 status=0 aid=3)
Feb 29 12:38:52 linuxlaptop kernel: wlp2s0: associated
Feb 29 12:38:52 linuxlaptop systemd[1]: NetworkManager-dispatcher.service: Succeeded.

it's fairly likely that the network was up.
