Actually, thanks for telling me. I can now amend my answer. My assumptions were wrong. The one below is U+5185 and should be the Simplified rendering. So, now we know the real difference between the CN and TW AR PL UKai fonts. The authors of the font have decided to render all characters in the style associated with either CN or TW depending to the selected font.
