Same Here.
I wanted to run an Nvidia Drivers Free system, but I could not cope with the continuous freezing up.

Yep. I always use nouveau after installing a new fedora release
for the 2 or 3 hours it takes for it to freeze up and force me to
reboot to get my screen back, then I install the unsupported
nvidia drivers and the screen freezes stop :-).
