It is a mess on the usb adaptors. From what I saw last time I looked a 'n' one that is fully supported by default seems to exist. I have an AC one, but I have to download and compile the driver and every few kernel versions I have to obtain updated source code. So far each set of updated sources code has came from a new source, so keeping it working is not trivial.
