The script looks like this: ----- #!/usr/bin/sh # clean out files left behind by the compiling that follows patching or # updating the kernel and/or the driver for the nvidia graphics card. rm -rf /var/cache/akmods/nvidia/* exit $?
This line is redundant. The exit code of the script is the one from the last command executed.
That I may better understand... Am I correct in assuming which shell I use does not matter in this case? What is the difference between "/usr/bin/sh" and "/bin/sh"?
/bin is a symlink to /usr/bin so those are the same file. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
