I am having problems working out how to get proper non journal logging normal text logging for the DHCP server.
Theres the following statement in /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf :-
# Use this to send dhcp log messages to a different log file (you also
# have to hack syslog.conf to complete the redirection).
log-facility local7;
# have to hack syslog.conf to complete the redirection).
log-facility local7;
I cannot seem to find syslog.conf or rsyslog.conf in /etc
There is a /usr/share/doc/sudo/examples/syslog.conf documentation file but there are no syslog or syslog services.
