Are you saying that you have, PasswordAuthentication no set on the server in /etc/ssh/sshd_config? If this is the case, and if you've been using keys for authentication it can mean that you've changed the permissions of user bobg ~/.ssh. It should be 700. Also, the files within ~/.ssh should be owned by bobg and have 600 permissions. Especially authorized_keys. -- If simple questions can be answered with a simple google query then why are there so many of them? _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
