That bug was reported against the shell when the Evolution bug was closed, stating that the stack trace showed that it was a bug in the shell, not Evolution. At the end of the day, I don't much care which part of the stack it is reported against, but that it gets fixed. Since Fedora 27 there has only been one cursory look at the problem and no fix attempts, even though it affects most Fedora users on the default Gnome shell. The common thread to all of these scenario reports seems to be that Xwindows cleanup is being invoked on app teardown when it should not be, and then always causing a complete loss of shell. > > poc > _______________________________________________ > users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Fedora Code of Conduct: > https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ > List Guidelines: > https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines > List Archives: > https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
