I had ran vlc successfully to listen to another video from my son
(of one of his boy's) and then went to quit the vlc from the panel.
Looked at messages and see:
Jul 7 22:48:58 lx140e audit[1]: SERVICE_STOP pid=1 uid=0

hostname=? addr=? terminal=? res=success'
Jul 7 22:49:06 lx140e vlc[13672]: QObject::~QObject: Timers cannot
be stopped from another thread
Does this shed any light on what is happening?
