Hi, I have a machine with F29 and a partition with an old WinXP (not EFI). Before updating to F30 I wanted to try the new BLS so I used "grub2-switch-to-blscfg" to test the transition, but something went wrong. Before I did a full update and reboot to be sure, but after I gave the command and rebooted the start menu showed only "Win Xp" no linux start. Looking around I found a few things to test but nothing worked. in "grub>" the command blscfg gave "can't find command 'blscfg'" but /boot/loader/entries/ was populated with 4 .conf entries. Only way to start Linux was the command "configfile /boot/grub2/grub.cfg.bak" and I was able to go back to "standard" (edit "/etc/default/grub" set "GRUB_ENABLE_BLSCFG=false" and rerun "grub2-install /dev/sda" and "grub2-mkconfig -o grub.cfg"). Has anyone tried this? Did I miss a step or something? Now that I know how to get back, and I saved a "good" grub.cfg, I can try again.
