Evening all,
After 9 years of not using linux, I've finally come back to the
fold....and tada! I've installed fedora....23. I've just used Yum to
install GCC and a few others, updated the system etc.
Is there any user groups in the Bedfordshire or Buckinghamshire area?
Apologies if it's off topic, but I'm a decade out of touch.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards

Just being nosey, but why 23 and not 30?
I have preferred to run (current - 1), now 29; that means most of the
OS bugs have been shaken out (in part on this very active list) and bugs
that I see are more likely to be the result of 'improvements' in the
cutting-edge version of my main application.
But 23 is way too far back. Resources will be hard to find and there
will be no security updates.
I tried a search for 'linux user groups uk,' but most of the results
looked rather old.
Welcome back...
