No idea what caused the blocking of your WiFi but instead of reboot you
can use the tool rfkill tu unblock it.

You can't unblock it if it's a hard block. Run "rfkill" and it will give you a list of all the possible locks. See what the state is.

Did you accidentally hit the airplane mode key on your keyboard?
