Hi All,

Fedora 30
ffmpeg-4.1.3-2.fc30.x86_64

How do I use ffmpeg to convert midi to ogg?

I don't remember having tried that ever, but there's even a Wiki for
it: fluidsynth

"
How to convert MIDI to MP3/OGG

Simple command lines to convert midi to ogg:

$ fluidsynth -nli -r 48000 -o synth.cpu-cores=2 -T oga -F example.ogg /usr/share/soundfonts/FluidR3_GM.sf2 example.MID
"
from:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/FluidSynth

Note the dependencies for the package: you might need
FluidR3_GM*, maybe twolame.
More on the Wiki.

someth. like:
dnf -C whatprovides \*FluidR3_GM\*
dnf -C repoquery -l fluid-soundfont-gm

HTH, and good luck!
Wolfgang
