First, I apologize for writing while dead tired and angry. I had been unable to search any other way than with google; I have since found the cause, to the extent I can =hope= it's not googling; but I am not sanguine. Second, man:/ brings me a sackload of stuff not from the man pages -- and again, that sackload seems to be covered all over with googleness, which disimproves my digestion. I install every browser that Fedora supports, plus such others as seem to be safe from dependency hell (currently Opera and Vivaldi); I can't think of any other that seems determined to deliver me up to one search engine, let alone the one I try hardest to avoid. -- Beartooth Implacable, curmudgeonly codger learning linux I try to be paranoid, but I just can't keep up. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
