Hi, I have a fedora28 desktop I'm trying to upgrade to fedora29 and having a problem: # dnf system-upgrade download --refresh --releasever=29 Before you continue ensure that your system is fully upgraded by running "dnf --refresh upgrade". Do you want to continue [y/N]: y Last metadata expiration check: 0:00:00 ago on Fri 10 May 2019 08:24:27 AM EDT. Error: Problem: package jre1.8.0_25-1.8.0_25-fcs.x86_64 requires /bin/basename, but none of the providers can be installed - coreutils-8.29-7.fc28.x86_64 does not belong to a distupgrade repository - problem with installed package jre1.8.0_25-1.8.0_25-fcs.x86_64 This machine has been successfully upgraded through many previous releases and haven't had a problem. I've followed the steps here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DNF_system_upgrade This includes ensuring all fedora28 updates have been applied.
