I have two qemu-kvm machines. one for testing usb stick with legacy
bios and one for testing with efi bios. Neither has a is no csm
mode. This is on purpose.
I somehow assumed that you wanted to boot from efi and csm on the same system.
About 1/2 of the system I will be booting from will not
have csm. Legacy only.
Some of the newer ones will have some weird Windows boot
loader linked with UEFI.
And finding the "f" key to go into set up can be a real
charm, especially when the "f" key is replace with a tiny
hole on the side of a laptop.
When f1, f2, and Del don't work, I will run across all
the "f" keys to see what pops up. Usually, they will
give me a route to setup
