He's already said it's the same machine.

I've had people use "same" machine for two different boxes with 

identical specs ordered at the same time.  It is amazing how rapidly 

differences can accumulate between two "identical" systems once they

are put into service.  

To clarify, Ubuntu and prior to that Windows was installed on the very same laptop. Now, Fedora is installed on the very same laptop.
