I don't care about that. The MacOS widget (formally called Key Caps and now called Keyboard Viewer) allows me to *see* the keycaps in the onscreen keyboard image change as I press the Ctrl, Alt etc. key combinations, to show what the resulting input *would be* if I typed them.
