The plugin uses libsensors.so and the display I get is just the cpu temperatures. The program "sensors" from package "lm_sensors" shows considerably more including other MB temperatures and fan speeds. It is a single reading though. I run it out of my crontab to serve as a "system health" log. xsensors is another alternative to your plugin. I hope your problem is not an F29 one. I've not updated yet and I routinely use gkrellm.
