Uhm, try "xinput --list". Find the device that represents the mouse. For example, I'm using a Logitech Wave keyboard and mouse, so I see: [root@prophead ~]# xinput --list ⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)] ⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)] ⎜ ↳ Logitech USB Receiver id=11 [slave pointer (2)] ⎜ ↳ TigerVNC pointer id=15 [slave pointer (2)] ⎣ Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)] ↳ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ Power Button id=6 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ Video Bus id=7 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ Power Button id=8 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ Sleep Button id=9 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ Logitech USB Receiver id=10 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ gspca_zc3xx id=12 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ USB Sound Device id=13 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ Logitech USB Receiver id=14 [slave keyboard (3)] ↳ TigerVNC keyboard id=16 [slave keyboard (3)] Under the "Virtual core pointer" section, I see the USB receiver for the mouse as device 11. Once you find the device, try "xinput --list-props <device-number>" to get a list of its properties and post that. Perhaps we can find something that can be buggered via "xinput --set-prop" that'd turn them off. Can't swear to it--this is a wild stab in the dark. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Rick Stevens, Systems Engineer, AllDigital ricks@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx - - AIM/Skype: therps2 ICQ: 226437340 Yahoo: origrps2 - - - - Admitting you have a problem is the first step toward getting - - medicated for it. -- Jim Evarts (http://www.TopFive.com) - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
