	It doesn't seem to. I'm trying to change three PCs, of which two 
resolutely refuse to create any GUI (under F 28 Mate) beyond the login 
screen. All I can do with either of those is to hit Ctrl-F2 as soon as 
they go off the rails, while they still see the keyboard and send to the 
monitor. So I tried deleting rhgb from those and rebooting -- no joy. 
(Once either of the bad two succeeds, I'll try the main one.)
