I don't know if it still applies, but I used to see those issues with the nouveau driver in Fedora a long time ago. Because nvidia doesn't release the hardware API, nouveau is reverse engineered. So, it doesn't always have the most up to date hardware interaction, and that can lead to problems. I didn't check closely, but there are several recent bugzillas about nouveau you could check for workarounds. Do a search for nouveau at https://bugzilla.redhat.com, and sort on first column. The other option is to run the closed source nvidia driver from nvidia. Rpmfusion packages it, and provides an akmod package that will rebuild it for new kernels. People who run the rpmfusion driver will probably be able to help you better with that. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/message/XIEWRS74427GPZASFQJWZQPLAENA24ZH/
