Apparently, this issue has existed in one form or another for quite some time. Looking at the sourceforge tickets you can see other tickets open since 2008 and no tickets being closed since 2005. So, that project doesn't appear to be very active at all. I think a "different editor" is the only sensible answer at this time. :-) -- Conjecture is just a conclusion based on incomplete information. It isn't a fact.
