A) Are you using a proxy? If so, have you added the appropriate config
lines to /etc/dnf/dnf.conf (proxy IP, username, password)?Need to double check that, I did setup a squid proxy on my desktop but I'm not sure if I have the laptop setup to use it or not... Good idea.
Just to confirm, I did have the laptop setup to use the squid proxy on my desktop so that was indeed the cause of the problem.
