Thanks much! I looked, and took some consolation from the fact that
crashes on launch are not somehow due to me or my hardware -- and more
from the knowledge that someone is working on it.
But when I looked closer, I concluded that the testing requires a
lot more savvy than I've got. My best wishes to the developers!
Testing would be just seeing if the new version starts now.
If you're not sure how to install it, that's easy as well:
sudo dnf --enablerepo=updates-testing upgrade pan
It's ready to go stable, so it will probably be in the updates repo in a
few days.
