On the XFCE spin, the "Network and Hostname" spoke is enabled in the installer. This appears to be disabled in the Workstation spin. There the Gnome Initial Setup utility is, in theory, run on your first login to add additional users, set a root password, configure networking, etc. I don't remember that running when I installed, but I may have closed it and forgotten since this was just a VM to testing. It's also possible that the install guide is out of date with respect to Gnome Initial Setup. I haven't tried it, but within the live environment there's an editable hostname entry in Settings, under Details, then About. I don't know if that sticks if you change it and then install to disk. -- Todd ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To have a successful relationship, I must learn to make it look like I'm giving as much as I'm getting.
