I am wondering if the problem is not related to the graphic card and its driver (nvidia gtx 1050 ti, driver nvidia): as another guy told me that this program worked fine under debian/xfce, I installed a vm with debian 9 and xfce. It works *but* if I enable the 3D acceleration for the guest (which, according to the virtualbox help, is supposed to transfer to the guest the 3D capabilities of the host), the program crashes as it does on the host. What can I do? Is it possible to disable the 3D capabilities of the nvidia driver/card only for one program? > > I think you should run it from the command line "strace > /opt/dassault-systemes/DraftSight/Linux/DraftSight" and see what it tells you. Too much ununderstandable (for me) information... -- François Patte UFR de mathématiques et informatique Laboratoire CNRS MAP5, UMR 8145 Université Paris Descartes 45, rue des Saints Pères F-75270 Paris Cedex 06 Tél. +33 (0)6 7892 5822 http://www.math-info.univ-paris5.fr/~patte
