If you instead get an option to download a jnlp-file, then you can
execute that from the commandline in the following manner:
javaws <file>.jnlp
This assumes that you have a java-version installed that provides the
javaws command, eg:
$ which javaws
/usr/java/default/bin/javaws
$ ls -la /usr/java/default/bin/javaws
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 128245 Sep 14 12:31 /usr/java/default/bin/javaws
$ rpm -qf /usr/java/default/bin/javaws
jdk1.8-1.8.0_152-fcs.x86_64
If this is not the case, then I guess the only alternative is to use
Firefox 52 ESR 32bit which you have to install manually since the
applet-support has been dropped from Firefox 64bit. See also:
