In my MUA (Claws Mail) I've seen her message wrapped, even in her first 
message in this thread. This might be so because I've set  Claws Mail 
to automatically  render HTML messages as text ....

And yes: I've seen it top-posted, too ... ;)

I tested it: I sent myself an email from the Gmail web interface, with
"plain text" in the compose window of this interface disabled.
Result: it showed up with wrapped lines in the Claws mail view -
although I wrote the message in one single line ...

Might be because of the mentioned settings for HTML messages (above)

I found the setting only in the web compose window for the message:
bottom right, drop down arrow menu ...
