I can print to a Canon iR 3080 using the UFR driver in cndrvcups-ufr2-
uk-3.10-1.x86_64 (which isn't a Fedora package) over a network
connection.

It did bring down gnome-control-center, though, as soon as the print
job was finished.  My core file got lost (unrelated), which means I
don't have a stack trace.

There won't be a bug report for cnpkmoduleufr2 if it's a non-Fedora
RPM, but there might be a bug report for gnome-control-center if it
crashes when print jobs complete.
