Update F26 to F27

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

When trying to update from f26 to f27 , using dnf system-upgrade etc, , I get a message 2 problems with grub 2 efi needs grub-tools but none of the providers can be installed.

Next problem : grub2-tools needs librpm.so.7 but none of the....etc.

Next question : Is it possible to upgrade Fedora 26 to Fedora 27 , Fedora 26.i686 to Fedora 27.X86_64 on a 64 Bits machine ? ( Fc26 is installed in a 32 Bits version on a 64 Bits machine (Inspiron 3710 Dell).

Following problem and question : The more I upgrade (F26) to the most recent version , the more system messages I get concerning ACPI problems , Discriptor problems etc.,

I think it is wise to install Fc27 and wait to see if this ( system messages) is still the case.

Be so kind to inform and help me.

Regards,

Ger van Dijck.
