I'm just installed kodi on my new Intel NUC, and while it mostly works, it believes that the timezone is UTC. I even modified the custom systemd service to add an Environment definition setting TZ, and it continues to display UTC time on the screen. (This is on fedora 26). The kodi timezone setting is always disabled even in Expert settings mode, so I can't set it directly in kodi.
