Hi there, the command that actually was installed was "dnf install steam". I resolve the issue meanwhile however. It seems really like my database was damaged in some strange way as I had certain packages (these listed here) in two different version for x86_64 installed on the system at the same time. From my understanding this should not happen and also causing the issue when it attempts to install the new version of the i686 as it conflicts with the 64 bit. Thus I deinstalled explicetly the old version of the 64 bit and as some files had been removed from the system doing a reinstall of the new version. This was quite a mess as libc and co was removing a lot of additional dependencies. But the issue seems to be fixed now and the system is working even after a restart fine. I might have a closer look today if I find any reason causing this extremly strange behaviour I never run into before as IMHO might be rooted in some hardware failure.
