I run KDE but use a number of Gnome applications including Evolution. I'm currently using Opera as my default web browser, but can't get Evolution to recognise this. Running gnome-control-center offers me a list of possible browsers but Opera is not one of them and I don't see where I can add it as an option. I cannot make head or tail of gsettings (nothing under the evolution- related schemas says anything about browsers), so I try xdg-settings: $ xdg-settings get default-web-browser opera.desktop Looks fine, right? But clicking on a link in Evolution opens Firefox.
