While unfamiliar with that, it sounds about right.  There was a certain
amount of "WTF!" while trying to print, amongst other swearing.

Printer Model: 	CE528A

At the time of printing, I was trying to print though a very old Fedora
box acting as the print server (auto-discovered by CUPS on this
computer).  I'm not sure how much pre-rendering gets done on the local
computer before it passes the job off.

Later I'll try doing what I don't want to do:  Setting up a printer
configuration on the client computer.  I wanted everything to just send
to the auto-discovered printer driven by the server.

Updating the server isn't possible, it doesn't have enough RAM for a
modern release of Fedora or CentOS, it'll need replacing.
