It is a wired connection on a desktop.
I have the network MAC address of the new mainboard.
What files to edit to put it?

There are a few things you will want to check, are you referring to Wireless or the Ethernet, most laptops does not have the Wi-Fi onboad (integrated); however, you need to verify that the MAC address in your config files reflect that address.
