My printer cost around £100 3 years ago and toner replacements cost me well under 10% of that. Inkjets are (no offence) a mug's game and work on the Gillette principle of cheap razors with expensive blades. If you really need colour then too bad, but the number of times I actually do need colour printing are surprisingly few and there's always the local print shop.
