I didn't even know I had the problem. I use the freshplugin solution described in response 1 at this link for flash. https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/10217/sticky-how-do-i-install-adobe-flash-on-fedora/ I never see complaints about missing the latest version, but it also didn't use the latest version when I installed it (looking in about:plugins). As soon as I used your solution, it showed that it picked up the latest version. That said, I don't think I actually need flash that much anymore (a good thing, given its security history). The videos I view on the web seem to be webm or mp4.
