Oops, sorry for the multi-posts. It's a Yahoo screw-up (my replies are sent through their SMTP server). Recently they required a password change, but gave no notification about it. Just every attempt to post would fail with a useless error message. It wasn't until I tried logging into their web portal that I found I was forced to change passwords. Then I had the fun and games of trying to put the new password into Evolution. But thanks to the bad error message, Evolution didn't prompt me to enter a password, gave me no way to change the old one it was trying to use, and it just kept failing to send. Gawd I hate service providers who're shit at their jobs. -- [tim@localhost ~]$ uname -rsvp Linux 3.9.10-100.fc17.x86_64 #1 SMP Sun Jul 14 01:31:27 UTC 2013 x86_64 Boilerplate: All mail to my mailbox is automatically deleted, there is no point trying to privately email me, I only get to see the messages posted to the mailing list. Damn, I didn't mean to press *that* button! _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
