I installed Fedora 25 with the MATE desktop on my Thinkpad Carbon X1 (4th gen). When I lock the desktop or the screensaver kicks in, the display doesn't actually blank. Instead, it stays showing the last thing. If I lock the screen or just wait for the screensaver to kick in, it stays on the desktop. If I hit a key, it jumps to the screen unlock display; if I then cancel unlocking, the lock screen stays on the display. If I had to guess, it is like the display is failing to switch off. There are no errors logged anywhere that I can see. Fedora 23/MATE worked fine, so this is new behavior. This is with a Intel HD Graphics 520 display (if that matters). -- Chris Adams <linux@xxxxxxxxxxx> _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
