I am sorry for keyboard error. I meant to post how are you posting the function?
I see in

http://www.gnuplot.info/demo/cerf.html

That the function can be called via:

<quote>
set yrange [-1:1]
set title "Faddeeva/Voigt Function"
set key samplen 0.5

plot real( faddeeva(x) ) lw 2, \
imag( faddeeva(x) ) lw 2, \
real(cdawson(x)) lt -1 lw 0.5 title "Dawson's Integral"
</quote>

I see what you mean now:

[olivares@tricore Downloads]$ gnuplot

G N U P L O T
Version 5.0 patchlevel 5    last modified 2016-10-02

Copyright (C) 1986-1993, 1998, 2004, 2007-2016
Thomas Williams, Colin Kelley and many others

gnuplot home:     http://www.gnuplot.info
faq, bugs, etc: type "help FAQ"
immediate help: type "help" (plot window: hit 'h')

Terminal type set to 'x11'
gnuplot> load 'cerf.2.gnu'
"cerf.2.gnu", line 34: undefined function: faddeeva

That is the error you are getting. Then this has to be a bug! :)
I learned something new today. Thank you very much! I had never heard of the faddeeva function :) I had heard about Fresnel Integral, Fejer kernel, etc, Gibbs phenomenon, etc. Gamma and Beta functions.

Best Regards,

Antonio
