SOLVED - cannot install vmwre tools from the command line

      I saw a post awhile back that indicated a package to install via
      dnf and it was solved however I cannot find it and the search on
      the fedora list site seems to be broken - I cannot go past the
      first page of results
      

      Anyone know what the fx is to get vmware to simply mount the tools
      as a cd when I choose VM -> install vmware tools ?
