Don't know if this will apply to Fedora, but it's worth a look.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

I had to change dll.conf, commenting out all the printer filenames except epson2, and in epson2.conf I added the usb 0x04b8 0x110b & left the net autodiscovery as it was.

All now seems to work as I expect!  Xsane now shows 2 posssible scanners.

Again many thanks to you & to Greg for getting me out of the dark brown stuff!!
