The client is a Symbolics XL1201 Lisp Machine. It's operating system is called Genera. For completeness: Genera 8.3 NFS Client 436.0 IP-TCP 446.1 I have talked to various servers running NFS. I have even talked to NFS servers on machines running Fedora, just not Fedora 24. The critical item is that the Lisp Machine only understands NFS v2 and cannot talk to NFS v3 or v4. Would it be helpful for me to attempt the connection while running Wireshark to monitor the network traffic?
