Hello,

I have no proble to boot is I set nomodeset or
nouveau.modeset=0 rd.driver.blacklist=nouveau
or
nouveau.modeset=0
I did not try to install the bumblebee package
however, I tried to install
the nvidia driver (xorg-x11-drv-nvidia) and I was unable to get the graphics mode. Hence, I removed
this driver

Now, should I understand that bumblebee runs in nomodset ?
Shoudl I use the free or nonfree package ?

I was thinking !

My Best.

Ah, OK
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 530 (rev 06)
01:00.0 3D controller: NVIDIA Corporation GM107M [GeForce GTX 960M] (rev a2)

But I do not have the file:
/sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch

Think the document need to be updated, my 2012 Optimus laptop has what is in the document but my 2015 laptop doesn't, so were you able boot without the locks?
