In case anyone else finds this thread later: I had to go back to the F23 version of lirc on my F24 systems, because I was getting key bounces (pressing one key and having it act like multiple key presses). This is probably only an issue with certain remotes (I have a Streamzap) and may also depend on what programs you are using the remote for (I have MythTV), and it might even be due to other configuration mistakes by me. All I know is the problem went away when I "downgraded" lirc.
