Take it out of root's crontab and put it in your own.

own crontab, is allowed, and does if they want

IIRC, root's crontab contained this entry back in the System V
days--maybe even before. First saw it in the mid-80's. Don't believe
SunOS prior-to-Solaris versions had it, though.
