Allegedly, on or about 20 August 2016, Patrick Dupre sent: > On a laptop, I would like to setup 2 encrypted partitions with the > same passphrase (this is easy). Now, when I boot the laptop, I would > like to have to provide the passphrase only one time. Is it possible? It did that with LVM, when I set up my laptop many years ago, but didn't with other partitioning schemes. That was the only reason I put up with the LVM nonsense on a laptop. I don't know whether non-LVM setups will only ask once for the same password, I haven't installed that way for ages. -- [tim@localhost ~]$ uname -rsvp Linux 3.9.10-100.fc17.x86_64 #1 SMP Sun Jul 14 01:31:27 UTC 2013 x86_64 Boilerplate: All mail to my mailbox is automatically deleted, there is no point trying to privately email me, I only get to see the messages posted to the mailing list.
